We’ve made it to the final stretch of our fall season, and November is here! After months of rehearsals, performances, football games, and competitions, the Royal Marching Regiment is ready to finish strong. These next few weeks are incredibly important, so let’s keep the energy high, stay focused at rehearsals, and continue supporting one another all the way through the finish line!
RETURNING TO COMPETITION — HART RAMPAGE!
This Saturday, the Royal Marching Regiment returns to the field at College of the Canyons for the Hart Rampage! This competition will play an important role in determining our trajectory toward SCSBOA Championships. With our full show now complete, our students are excited and ready to compete! If you are attending as a spectator, please consider helping our students move equipment and props before and after our performance. Extra help at this tournament would be greatly appreciated!
FINAL COMPETITION AT ROYAL HIGH!
It all comes down to this! The Royal Marching Regiment will take the field for our final regular-season competition at Royal High School on November 14. Quartz Hill and Lancaster are set for an exciting battle for 1st place in the 5A Division, making this one of the biggest performances of our season. Let’s finish strong and give our students a huge crowd of Royal supporters!

A friendly reminder to all of our Band & Pageantry families that Contribution #4 for instrumentalists is due! Your contributions directly support the many expenses that make our marching season possible. Every contribution makes a difference, and we greatly appreciate your continued support! Families may submit contributions through Zelle, cash, or check. Cash and checks may be placed in the Band Room Booster Box. Please include your student’s full name with all payments so they can be properly credited.

Want to have a voice in our Band & Pageantry program? Join us for our next Parent Meeting on November 9 at 6:00 PM. The meeting will be held virtually, and all Band & Pageantry families are encouraged to attend.

Parents, we really need your help! We are looking for volunteers to help run concessions during this Friday’s CIF playoff football game and any additional home playoff games.

PROP & PIT CREW HELP NEEDED!
We still need parent and family help with our props and pit equipment for our final two field tournaments on November 7 and November 14. College of the Canyons is especially challenging because of the steep pathways students must navigate while pushing and pulling equipment. Your help makes a huge difference and allows our students to focus on giving their best performance! If you’re already coming to watch your student perform, please consider joining our crew.
END-OF-SEASON DINNER AT VINCE’S
Celebrate the end of marching season with us at Vince’s Pasta & Pizza in Lancaster, located at 2833 W. Avenue L! Join us from 4:00–9:00 PM for a family dinner and fundraiser benefiting our Band & Auxiliary Boosters. Present the fundraiser flyer or show it on your phone, and 20% of net sales will benefit our program. Dine-in, takeout, and delivery orders are eligible. We hope to see our entire Royal family there!
INDIVIDUAL BAND PHOTOS
Individual band photos will be held at QHHS from 3:00–6:30 PM. All students must complete the appointment sign-up form and select an available time slot. Final appointment times will be confirmed later. Students should report to the Band Room at least 5–10 minutes before their appointment, fully dressed and ready for photos with their instrument and all required uniform accessories. Please submit the form only once per student.

Royal Marching Regiment Spirit Wear is still available for online ordering! Orders may be delivered to you or your student at the end of rehearsal or during call time at an upcoming competition. Show your Royal pride and support the program!

CHAMPIONSHIP REHEARSAL SCHEDULE
If the Royal Marching Regiment qualifies for SCSBOA Championships, we will rehearse Thursday night only during Championship Week.
There will be NO Tuesday night rehearsal. Instead, we encourage everyone to join us Tuesday evening for our Vince’s Pasta & Pizza fundraiser!
